ABOUT

Sean Ramos is a Chicanx Playwright, Screenwriter, Songwriter, Poet, and Author. They have worked in theatre, film, television, audio drama, and literature. They are at an extremely pivotal moment in their career where they have an unending supply of ideation and a deep desire to bridge communication with entertainment, education, and scholarship.

Since 2020, Sean has been crafting pieces that are commentaries on revisionist meditations of the past, a hope for the present, and future realities and ideals that they hope serve as additional perspectives to what we are all being continually suggested.

They create as a means to offer alternative views to a capital-driven, Al-powered, social media-inundated lifestyle, and serve as a return to people-centered humanity. They are heavily influenced by philosophers and sociologists that explore diasporic influence on members of that community. It is their goal to have their work serve as a testament to resilience in the face of generations-worth of assimilation and to show the strength of community.

Additionally, Ramos is additionally sole songwriter of Quiet Morning & the Calamity, and radio-playwright of This American Wasteland: an audio drama.
